A man was detained in Poland for threatening a Ukrainian and making Nazi gestures.
According to ТСН: In the Polish city of Gdynia, a local resident exhibited aggression towards a Ukrainian cashier, insulting her and making threats, as well as displaying Nazi gestures.
The video of the incident has gone viral on social media.
The man was rude to the saleswoman, shouting insults, demanding that she return to Ukraine, and attempting to attack her. When one of the customers decided to defend the saleswoman, the aggressor tried to attack him as well.
Meanwhile, the attacker shouted the Hitlerite slogan 'Heil Hitler!' and made the corresponding gesture.
The police of the Pomeranian Voivodeship confirmed that the individual was detained and charged with:
- threats against a person due to their nationality;
- publicly promoting the Nazi regime.
It is worth noting that the incident has sparked widespread public resonance and highlights existing problems of discrimination against Ukrainians in Poland. Previous cases of bullying against Ukrainian children also indicate the urgent need to address such phenomena to ensure the safety and respect for all residents of the country.
