The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Sergey Lavrov, announced that Russia has new conditions for negotiations with Ukraine regarding the end of the war in the country. According to him, the agreements must be inviolable and have legal force.

However, Lavrov noted that it refers only to 'reliable, legally binding agreements that address the causes of the conflict.'

He also emphasized the necessity of a mechanism to prevent violations of the agreement and stressed that the parties and the subject of negotiations should be clearly defined, avoiding the discussion of trivial matters.

Lavrov also refused to accept President Trump's proposals to postpone Ukraine's NATO membership for 20 years and to deploy a peacekeeping contingent from British and European forces.

According to Lavrov, 'the proposals to postpone Ukraine's NATO membership for 20 years and introduce a peacekeeping contingent from British and European forces into Ukraine' do not suit Russia.

Lavrov also stated that Moscow had not received official signals from the Biden administration regarding ways to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.

Previously, ISW warned Ukraine about President Putin's plans for winter.
