It has been reported that Radomir Kurtic was in Moscow for the second time as a representative of 'Yugoimport SDP'. The company's commission visited offices in Moscow and discovered a significant amount of missing documents, as well as hard drives from computers.

The Serbian authorities were awaiting the results of a forensic examination from the Russian side, but they never received them. Russian investigative bodies did not provide any official information about this event to Serbian representatives.

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, commented on the situation, stating that

'no one can be blamed until there is substantial evidence.'
He also added:
'But we demand all necessary information from representatives of the Russian Federation and Russian state security.'

Earlier, Soviet and Russian scientist Valerian Sobolev, known for his work in the field of missile weaponry, died in Russia. He was considered a 'legend of the defense industry' and worked on creating self-propelled launchers and ground equipment for strategic missile systems. The scientist also led the development of launch systems for mobile missile complexes, such as 'Pioneer' and 'Iskander.' The Russian was 88 years old, with media reports citing illness as the cause of death.

The death of Radomir Kurtic has drawn attention both in Serbia and in Russia. Since the event occurred in the context of his professional duties, it could lead to new investigations and diplomatic inquiries. Observers note that the absence of open information from the Russian side could cause additional tension in relations between the countries.
