11 Tu-95MS Aircraft Took Off in Russia – Air Forces.
Recorded activity of Russian bombers in airspace
The Command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the recorded activity of 11 strategic bombers Tu-95MS in the airspace of Russia. These aircraft are carriers of cruise missiles, which creates a potential threat of missile strike on the territory of Ukraine. AFU Air Force reports this on Telegram.
«In Russian airspace, the activity of 11 Tu-95MS aircraft was recorded! In case of missile threat and launches of cruise missiles, we will inform additionally», – the message states.
The military urges citizens to be vigilant and not to ignore air raid signals. Information regarding possible missile threats and cruise missile launches will be provided additionally.
SBU and Special Operations Forces Struck Enemy Bombers' Depots
Recall that the SBU, together with the Special Operations Forces, struck depots with KABs and fuel at the «Marinovka» airfield in Russia. This airfield in the Volgograd region is actively used by the enemy for bombings on the front line in Ukraine.
Thus, on the night of August 22, powerful explosions thundered in the Volgograd region. Satellite images show completely burned out ammunition depots, as well as destroyed hangars where enemy aircraft could have been stationed. As a result of the Ukrainian attack, a Russian Su-34 was destroyed, and another aircraft of the same type was damaged. In addition, other hangars where Russian planes might have been were damaged.
