An industrial enterprise in the Samara region has been attacked.
On the night of April 5, explosions occurred in Chapaevsk, Samara region. Local residents report a fire at an industrial enterprise. This was reported by the news portal 'Glavkom' citing Russian media.
According to reports, explosions were heard from three o'clock in the morning. Preliminary data indicates that the industrial facility was attacked by drones, resulting in a fire.
Later, the attack was confirmed by the region's governor. He stated that all emergency services are working on-site to extinguish the fire.
Information is also being published online that the drone attack targeted the 'Promsynthez' factory, which is engaged in explosives production.
As is known, JSC 'Promsynthez' is one of the most important manufacturers of explosive materials in the Russian Federation. On March 22, drones also attacked this enterprise in the Samara region.
The enterprise is located in the city of Chapaevsk. The attack was confirmed by the regional governor, but according to him, there are no damages as measures to counter the attacks were taken immediately.
We recall that in early March, drones attacked the oil refinery in Novokuybyshevsk, which is also located in the Samara region. Local authorities had previously stated the threat of drone attacks in the region.
The attack pertained to the Novokuybyshevsky oil refinery, which is the largest in the group of plants in the Samara region, engaged in oil refining.
