In the city of Sumy, November 18 and 19 will be designated as Days of Mourning due to the victims of the missile strike carried out by Russian forces. This was reported by the acting mayor Artem Kobzar.
"In sign of mourning for those killed in the Sumy city community, Days of Mourning have been declared on November 18 and 19," – the message states.
On November 17, the occupiers carried out a missile strike on a multi-storey building in Sumy. In the evening of November 17, the death of 10 people was confirmed, including two children. Additionally, 51 people were injured, among them five children. About 400 people were evacuated. President Volodymyr Zelensky has already informed about the consequences of this strike in Sumy.
