According to the
Sumy City Council, 'in connection with the horrific tragedy that occurred on the night of July 30-31 as a result of a massive enemy attack on Kyiv, which resulted in the deaths of civilians, August 1, 2025, has been declared a Day of Mourning in the Sumy city community'.
The public expresses condolences to the families and loved ones of the deceased from Kyiv.
It should be noted that as a result of the Russian attack on the capital, 15 people were killed, which is why July 31 was declared a Day of Mourning.
