In Sumy, the 'Shahed' hit a residential building, one person is reported dead.
The occupiers attacked Ukraine using drones, specifically the city of Sumy, on the evening of January 29. A residential building was damaged as a result of one of the attacks. This was reported by the acting mayor Artem Kobzar.
'Another attack. A drone attack on a residential building. The walls were damaged, a woman is calling 'help', an ambulance is on site,' Kobzar said.
He also added that rescuers have already arrived at the scene.
Kobzar published the first images of the aftermath following the strike.
There is one dead and one wounded
At 01:01, the acting mayor reported that as a result of the attack, there is one dead person and one wounded.
The State Emergency Service (SES) also confirmed that there is one deceased person according to preliminary information.
Let us remind you that Kyiv was also attacked by drones that scattered shrapnel on the night of January 29.
Additionally, Russian troops carried out airstrikes on a children's rehabilitation center in Sumy on the evening of January 12. A fire broke out on the premises.
As a result of the airstrike on a five-story building in the village of Svesa, Sumy region, the number of injured reached 10, including two children. Rescuers completed emergency rescue operations at 22:30.
