In Zaporizhzhia, the body of a person was found under the rubble after nine days of searching.
As a result of the attack that occurred on January 18, the body of a man was found under the rubble in Zaporizhzhia. After nine days of rescue operations, the body of a 27-year-old man was discovered and recovered. He became a victim of the city's shelling by Russian troops. In this incident, 2 people died and 12 were injured. Canine units from the Interregional Rapid Response Center of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine were involved in the rescue operations.
Zaporizhzhia was attacked by Russian troops on January 18. A missile struck an enterprise, causing significant destruction. As a result, an administrative building, residential houses, and private vehicles were damaged. The Cathedral of the UOC of the Moscow Patriarchate also sustained damage.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the attacks on Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia, showing a video of the aftermath of the enemy strike. He emphasized that everyone who supports Russia in this war should feel pressure that will be no less than these strikes.
