According to inkorr.com: On November 6, military drones attacked one of the main petrochemical plants in Bashkortostan - the Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant. This is one of the largest enterprises in the petrochemical industry of Russia, as reported by 'Glavkom' citing intelligence.
Details of the Strike
As a result of the strike, a fire broke out in the workshop where agidol - an additive for aviation fuel - is produced.
The plant mainly supplies components for aviation kerosene, which are necessary for the production of high-quality aviation fuel. According to preliminary data, one of the workshops sustained serious damage. The Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant is part of the 'Roschem' corporation. This is already the second attack on this facility in recent days; the first was confirmed by the General Staff on November 4.
Consequences of the Attack
After this drone attack, the Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant, along with the Kstovo Oil Refinery, suspended their operations. There are also power supply issues in some areas of the Kursk region.
The attack of combat drones on the petrochemical plant in Russia resulted in a fire. It is worth noting that this is already the second attack on this facility within a few days, which has serious consequences, including the shutdown of two important factories and power supply issues in certain regions.
