“A brother and sister required medical attention. Both have been hospitalized,” reported Oleksandr Ganzha.
Large-Scale Missile and Drone Assault
Separately, during the night of June 2, Russian forces launched a massive combined missile and drone attack across Ukraine. The assault caused damage and casualties in multiple regions, including:
- Kyiv Oblast
- Mykolaiv Oblast
- Zaporizhzhia Oblast
- Poltava Oblast
- Sumy Oblast
- Chernihiv Oblast
- Khmelnytskyi Oblast
As of 4:11 PM, the death toll in Dnipro had reached 15, while in Kyiv six people were killed.
“In Dnipro, a drone has once again struck a residential building,” said Mayor Borys Filatov.
This incident highlights the dangers faced by civilians in Ukraine amid the ongoing armed conflict. The targeting of residential buildings underscores an escalation of violence and the threat to non-combatants, especially children, who are increasingly becoming victims of military operations. Such events may provoke international reactions and spark renewed discussions about regional security.
