Strike on Dnipro: Fresh Wave of Attacks Leaves Injured and Triggers Massive Warehouse Blaze.
Series of Strikes in the Dnipro District
According to Espreso.tv: A wave of attacks struck the Dnipro district, causing casualties and sparking a large-scale fire. Oleksandr Ganzha reported strikes on the area at 4:02 PM. By 4:46 PM, it was confirmed that two people had been wounded: a 34-year-old woman and a 53-year-old man. Both victims, in serious condition, were rushed to the hospital.
At 4:55 PM, Ganzha announced another strike on the Dnipro district, which ignited warehouses belonging to a retail chain. A further strike hit the area at 5:25 PM, requiring medical assistance for six individuals. Five of the wounded were hospitalized, three of them in critical condition. The Russian attack caused a massive fire. Borys Filatov noted that Russian forces struck ATB grocery warehouses in Dnipro.
Threats and Aftermath
At 4:52 PM, the Ukrainian Air Force warned of a ballistic threat from the east, and at 4:55 PM, they alerted about a high-speed target heading toward Dnipro. On the night of June 2, Russian occupiers launched a massive missile and drone attack on Ukraine, targeting the following regions:
- Kyiv region
- Mykolaiv region
- Zaporizhzhia region
- Poltava region
- Sumy region
- Chernihiv region
- Khmelnytskyi region
As a result of the attacks in Dnipro, 16 people were killed.
