In Sumy, rescue operations were completed at the site of a Russian strike on a geriatric boarding house. It is reported that 13 people were injured, and one died. Rescuers evacuated 147 people from the damaged building.
Recall that on September 19, the Russian army attacked Sumy with guided aerial bombs. As a result of the shelling, the Sumy geriatric boarding house was damaged. The technical and fifth floors were destroyed, but no one was trapped under the rubble. 147 people were evacuated and transported to hospitals and other boarding houses.
It is also known that around midnight on September 19, Russian occupiers shelled Kharkiv. As a result of the rocket strike, two private houses in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the city were destroyed, and a large fire broke out. The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office initiated a criminal case regarding this attack.
In addition, Russian troops carried out several attacks on the Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih districts.
It is worth noting that the European Parliament called on EU member states to lift restrictions that prevent Ukraine from using Western weapons against Russian military targets.
