Ukrainian drones attacked the Saratov oil refinery and Russian airfields: expert on the consequences.
According to ТСН: Recently, there was a drone attack on the Saratov oil refinery and several military sites in temporarily occupied Crimea, indicating Ukraine's systematic pressure on the Russian Federation.
What is special about the attack on the night of November 28
The Saratov oil refinery is located near the Engels-2 airfield, which hosts the enemy's strategic aviation that launches missiles at Ukraine. Recently, several tactical aircraft – Su-34 and Su-35 – were also transferred there.
“It is important for us to reach the special engineering service that services the missiles. Also, the fuel and lubricants depots, which receive fuel from the Saratov oil refinery. This was a comprehensive attack,” said Svitan.
Another well-planned strike occurred at the Saqi airfield, where several important objects were destroyed. Among them were hit air defense facilities, a hangar with drones 'Forpost' and 'Orion', as well as a command and dispatch point.
“The complexity of this operation demonstrated that experienced aviation specialists began to carry it out. First there was a strike on the thermal power station that supplies equipment at the airfield. Then air defense was attacked, and later the storage site of drones was hit. This is a well-prepared operation,” said Svitan.
It should be noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the Saratov oil refinery in Russia on the night of November 28.
“A series of explosions was recorded, after which a fire was observed in the target area. The results of the hits are being clarified,” the message said.
This attack emphasizes Ukraine's activation of actions against the strategic facilities of the enemy, which is part of the overall strategy to counter military aggression. Successful strikes on military and industrial targets indicate a desire to reduce Russia's military potential and protect the Ukrainian population from threats.
