Hungary has approached the EU with a request to lift part of the sanctions on certain Russian citizens, including three of "Putin's wallets".
The Hungarian government believes that Alisher Usmanov, Petr Aven, and Viktor Rashnikov have nothing to do with criminal offenses. According to Politico, Budapest is even ready for a compromise. As part of the agreement, it is assumed that Hungary will no longer block other sanctions against Russia.
