According to ТСН: Hungary has rejected the Paris Declaration signed on January 6 by participants of the 'Coalition of the Willing' in Paris.

Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto expressed concern that this step could lead to direct conflicts with Russia. He noted that Western European countries, in trying to ensure a military presence in Ukraine, are only increasing the threat of war with Russia.

‘By seeking to establish a military presence in Ukraine, Western European countries are heightening the threat of direct war against Russia,’ Szijjarto lamented.

Szijjarto also emphasized that only Orbán's government can 'protect Hungary' from war with Russia. He stressed that Hungary will continue to support peace negotiations and high-level American-Russian consultations, rejecting Brussels' military solution.

‘We continue to support peace negotiations, we support high-level American-Russian consultations, and we reject the latest “military” decision of Brussels,’ said the Hungarian Foreign Minister.

Furthermore, Szijjarto characterized the authority of the European Union as 'puppet-like'.

‘It is clear that the puppet government in Brussels has been created to carry out the will of Brussels in every respect. The puppet government in Brussels will drag Hungary into a war that Brussels wants to start against Russia,’ he noted.

It is worth recalling that on the same day a declaration of intent was signed in Paris regarding the deployment of multinational forces after a ceasefire in Ukraine. The leaders of the countries consider this decision historic, while the American side officially confirmed its support for security guarantees for the first time.

Thus, Hungary takes a clear position on the international stage, emphasizing the necessity of diplomatic efforts to prevent escalation of the conflict. At the same time, the declaration signed in Paris could become an important milestone in contemporary geopolitics, considering the uncertainty prevailing in the region.
