The Verhovna Rada passed a law on compensation for displaced persons for destroyed housing
The Verkhovna Rada adopted as a whole a law regarding the priority rights of certain categories of internally displaced persons to receive compensation for destroyed real estate under the «eRestoration» program. Legislative initiative No. 11028 was supported by 288 votes of people's deputies.
The document introduces amendments to the laws of Ukraine «On compensation for damage and destruction of certain categories of real estate objects as a result of hostilities, terrorist acts, diversions caused by the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, and the State Registry of property damaged and destroyed as a result of hostilities, terrorist acts, diversions caused by the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine» and «On ensuring the rights and freedoms of internally displaced persons».
Russian oligarch Usmanov stepped down as president of the International Fencing Federation
Russian oligarch Alisher Usmanov resigned as president of the International Fencing Federation (FIE) after winning the elections.
