Ukraine experienced a massive night attack: details from the Air Forces.

On February 12, 2025, missile strikes were carried out on Kyiv and Kryvyi Rih. The total number of attacks consisted of Iskander-M ballistic missiles and Shahed-type drones and imitation drones. Reports about this were received from the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.To protect against aerial attacks, aviation, anti-aircraft missile military units, electronic warfare means, and mobile fire groups of the Air Forces and Defense Forces were used.So far, the downing of six Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 71 Shahed-type drones in various regions of Ukraine has been confirmed, including Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions. Additionally, 40 imitation drones were lost without negative consequences.The attack caused damage in Kyiv region, Dnipropetrovsk (Kryvyi Rih), Sumy, Poltava, and Chernihiv regions.It is worth reminding that as a result of the attack in Kyiv, fires broke out in various areas. The mayor of the capital, Vitali Klitschko, reported casualties and injuries. In the Obolon district, besides the deceased, there are three injured, including a nine-year-old girl who was taken to the hospital.
