Ukraine’s Push for Drone Technology Collaboration
According to UATV: Ukraine has proposed a special agreement with Ireland focused on unmanned aerial and maritime technologies, aiming to bolster security through business cooperation. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the initiative, revealing that Kyiv has opened an active dialogue with Dublin on next-generation tech. This move comes as both nations explore deeper ties in defense innovation.
Zelenskyy underscored the deal’s significance, stating:
“We have initiated talks with Ireland on unmanned aerial vehicles and new technologies, and we are offering an agreement on drones and related systems.”The proposal reflects Ukraine’s drive to develop cutting-edge security and defense solutions.
Collaboration with Ireland and New Contracts
Separately, Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov confirmed a contract—backed by Germany—to supply hundreds of PAC-2 and PAC-3 anti-missile systems. Deliveries are expected to begin next year, further highlighting Ukraine’s efforts to strengthen its defensive capabilities. Teaming up with Ireland on drone technology could mark a major step forward for Ukraine’s defense infrastructure.
