President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky assessed the results of negotiations in Washington with US President Donald Trump and European leaders as 'a significant step' towards ending the war and strengthening the security of Ukraine and its citizens. The news about this was published by the head of state on Telegram. Zelensky noted that work has begun on concrete steps to ensure future security guarantees for Ukraine. Discussions will continue at both the leadership level and through ongoing contacts between national security advisors. The president expressed gratitude to his partners for their support and determination, emphasizing that Ukraine appreciates this assistance. Yesterday, a meeting took place between Zelensky and Trump in Washington, where leaders of European countries also participated. The event saw several statements in support of Ukraine, including joint actions for the search for kidnapped children and support for Ukraine in the future.
