According to TSN.ua: Natalia Richardson, originally from the Donetsk region, has been crowned the winner of the UK's Great British Bake Off, earning the coveted Star Baker title for a dessert shaped like a map of Ukraine. Her creation featured key cities, including Kyiv and Donetsk, highlighting her enduring connection to her homeland. The Great British Bake Off is a hugely popular television competition that has launched many successful baking careers.

The 32-year-old baker relocated to Kyiv after the initial occupation of her region and married her husband, Harry, a year before the full-scale invasion. It was Harry who secretly submitted her application for the show. Natalia successfully navigated six rigorous audition rounds, a testament to her exceptional skill and determination.

Future Ambitions

Following her victory, Natalia plans to open her own bakery in Britain. She has also expressed a desire to bring her daughter, Frenchestie, to visit Ukraine.

“I won the week and I got Star Baker. They were saying, oh my God, this is wow!” Natalia Richardson shared, describing her emotional reaction.
