Ukrainian Delegation Holds Key Talks in Davos

According to TSN.ua: At the World Economic Forum in Davos, a Ukrainian delegation led by National Security and Defense Council Secretary Rustem Umerov held significant meetings with international partners. The delegation's participation underscores Ukraine's continued diplomatic and economic outreach despite the ongoing war. Key meetings included:

  • Discussions with representatives of the American investment firm BlackRock;
  • Meetings with the Prime Ministers of Norway and Qatar.

Other participants in the talks included David Arakhamia and Oleksandr Kamyshin.

Focus on Reconstruction and Partnership

Rustem Umerov stressed the critical importance of this collaborative work, stating:

'We continue to work with partners, combining the defense of the country today with laying the groundwork for its recovery tomorrow.' - Rustem Umerov

The delegation's agenda also featured planned negotiations with American partners, including Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff.

Notably, Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Presidential Office, is participating in such negotiations for the first time. Furthermore, the delegation is scheduled to travel to the United States on January 17 for continued work with international partners. These meetings aim to strengthen economic ties and prepare for Ukraine's future reconstruction.
