Ukrainian delegation headed to the USA: main goal of negotiations.

According to ТСН: Kyiv has started active diplomatic activities in cooperation with Washington. The Ukrainian delegation has departed for the United States for negotiations that could be decisive for the further development of the war. The primary goal of the trip is not only to engage in dialogue but also to take concrete measures to protect national interests and accelerate the peace process.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiha reported this during communication with journalists.

Composition of the team and clear tasks

According to the minister, representatives of key government institutions are included in the delegation. In particular, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Defense Forces, and the security bloc will participate in the negotiations. Sybiha emphasized that the team is setting off not empty-handed but with clearly defined tasks.

All necessary procedural moments have already been agreed upon, and the delegation has received the relevant directives. The minister stressed that the Ukrainian side has a 'firm and clear course' based on the priority of protecting national interests during Russia's aggression.

Betting on Trump and the 'moment of truth'

Andriy Sybiha also noted the role of the USA in the current context. He expressed gratitude to American partners, particularly President Donald Trump. According to the diplomat, the current situation should be utilized as effectively as possible by Ukraine.

The main task of the delegation is to provide the necessary momentum for peaceful efforts to bring about the end of hostilities.

'We are grateful to the United States of America, we are grateful to President Trump. It is important for us to continue this track and involve the USA in this peace process. The most important thing is to take advantage of the moment and expedite peace efforts,' emphasized the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The diplomat noted that the ultimate goal of these efforts remains unchanged – achieving a just peace and restoring normal life for all Ukrainians.

It should be reminded that Sybiha emphasized that the Russian dictator seeks to prolong the war in Ukraine at any cost. He also mentioned one politician who Putin has made an accomplice in terror – and it is not Kim Jong Un.

The situation surrounding Ukrainian-American negotiations reflects the tension of the military conflict and the need for international support for Ukraine. It is crucial that the results of the negotiations help expedite the peace process and reduce the suffering of people affected by the prolonged war.
