President Volodymyr Zelensky, together with the Ukrainian delegation, will participate in the Summit of the Future, which will take place in New York on September 22-23. They will also participate in the annual high-level debates, which will take place on September 25.

The summit will discuss the Future Pact, which includes sections on sustainable development and development financing; international peace and security; science, technology, innovation and digital cooperation; youth and future generations; transformation of global governance.

The event will be attended by representatives from almost all countries of the world, including heads of state, government officials, ministers, and representatives of international organizations.

The summit will address issues related to climate change, poverty, inequality, conflicts, and the global health crisis. The result of the summit will be the Future Pact, aimed at strengthening global cooperation and adapting to current challenges.

The document states that the parties express concern over "threats to international peace and security, particularly violations of the UN Charter principles and the risk of nuclear war".

Let us recall that the 79th session of the UN General Assembly has started, during which high-level debates with the participation of heads of state and government, including Ukraine, on the theme "Leaving no one behind: joint actions for peace, sustainable development and human dignity for present and future generations" will take place.
