Ukrainian Forces Strike Russian Warehouses: Hits Reported in Donetsk, Yalta, and Crimea.
Operations by Ukraine’s Defense Forces
According to TSN.ua: On March 19, Ukraine’s Defense Forces carried out strikes against enemy military assets in temporarily occupied territories. Units targeted logistics hubs and concentrations of enemy personnel, specifically in Donetsk, Yalta (a temporarily occupied area in Donetsk Oblast), and the settlement of Kalancak (temporarily occupied in Kherson Oblast). These actions are part of ongoing efforts to disrupt Russian supply lines and troop deployments in the region.
Primary Targets Hit
Key objectives that were successfully struck included:
- ammunition depots in the aforementioned cities;
- a material and technical supply warehouse near Vesele in Donetsk Oblast;
- a fuel and lubricants storage facility near Novotroitske (temporarily occupied in Kherson Oblast);
- areas where enemy forces were concentrated close to Yalta;
- the settlement of Ovrazhky (temporarily occupied in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea).
During the night of March 18–19, Ukraine’s defense forces also targeted the Russian-owned "Granit" innovation center in Crimea. This facility is part of a network supporting Russian military technology, and its destruction could hinder their operational capabilities.
These operations by Ukraine’s Defense Forces in temporarily occupied territories highlight an intensification of frontline actions focused on eliminating key logistics nodes and enemy stockpiles. The strike on the "Granit" center may aim to slow the technological advancement of Russian troops, potentially affecting their combat effectiveness. Such moves could be part of a broader Ukrainian strategy to regain control over currently occupied areas.
