Ukraine to be hit by rain and sharp cold: forecasters give a September forecast.

According to inkorr.com: On Friday, September 19, variable cloudiness is expected in Ukraine, as well as possible rains and gusts of wind. This is reported by 'Glavcom' with reference to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.

Forecasters expect light rain in the western regions. The wind will blow from the northwest at a speed of 5-10 m/s. Night temperatures will range from 6 to 11°C, in the south and west - from 9 to 14°C, and during the day the air will warm up to 18-23°C. In the Carpathians, night temperatures will drop to 3-8°C, and during the day it will be 9-14°C.

Forecast for Kyiv region and capital

Variable cloudiness is also expected in the Kyiv region and the capital. No precipitation is forecasted during the day. The wind will blow from the northwest at a speed of 5-10 m/s. Night temperatures will be from 6 to 11°C, and during the day - from 18 to 23°C, in Kyiv itself at night the temperature will be 8-10°C, during the day about 20°C.

According to forecasters' predictions, a significant change in weather conditions is expected in the third decade of September. After September 20, cold Arctic masses may arrive in Ukraine, leading to the first frosts on the soil surface in the northern, eastern, and western regions.

It is forecasted that precipitation in September will be 20-40% lower than normal, which could lead to droughts, especially in the Left Bank. This will increase the risk of fires, especially in regions with insufficient moisture.

An Eastern European anticyclonic area has come to Ukraine, providing relatively calm weather conditions.

Thus, September may turn out to be less humid than usual and prepare us for the arrival of cold at the end of the month. Moderate temperatures during the day and cool nights in the coming days may be the last manifestations of warm autumn, while changes in climatic conditions are already on the horizon.
