Ukrposhta to Launch New Mobile Application: How the Functionality Will Change.

Ukrposhta is introducing a new mobile application with improved functionality in November. This was announced by the company's CEO Ihor Smilianskyi.

With the help of the new application, the sender will be able to track the parcel and view delivery information. If the parcel is delivered by noon, next-day delivery is guaranteed to the destination city. If the parcel is delivered in the evening and can be quickly delivered, next-day delivery is also guaranteed,» explained Ihor Smilianskyi.

The obsolescence of Ukrposhta's current mobile application necessitated its modernization, including automated parcel tracking. The improvement includes automatic track updates during parcel shipment. The recipient will receive push notifications with information about the parcel.

In the new mobile application, features such as redirecting parcels to another branch and online payment will be available. Users will also be able to see all the stages of parcel delivery,» added Ihor Smilianskyi. Currently, the application is in the beta testing phase, involving 22,000 employees.

Previously, Ukrposhta decided to keep delivery rates unchanged until the end of 2024. During October, the company fully switched to automated parcel sorting, which led to reduced delivery times.

It is also worth noting that as of October 1, Ukrposhta made changes to the rates for delivering documents, parcels, and cargo. The company also changed the procedure for selling postage stamps. Meanwhile, Nova Poshta increased parcel delivery rates.

In the field of transport and mail, companies received a total income of UAH 219.82 billion. The leaders are Ukrzaliznytsia and Nova Poshta.
