The government has unified the medical commission rules for all military personnel: what has changed.
Unification of the rules for passing medical commissions
According to inkorr.com: The Cabinet of Ministers has made a decision to unify the rules for passing military medical commissions for all Defense Forces of Ukraine. This means that now all military personnel, including those from the SBU and National Guard, will undergo commissions according to the same standards. This was reported by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.
Simplification of medical examination process
The procedure for medical examinations for military personnel receiving treatment abroad for more than 12 months has also been simplified. Now these individuals will be able to pass the examination remotely, without the need to return to Ukraine. These changes are aimed at organizing the work of military medical commissions and creating equal conditions for all military personnel defending the country.
It should be noted that among those with limited suitability who underwent a repeated military medical commission, only 7% were deemed completely unfit. Two deferments have also been introduced in the 'Reserve+' application: for individuals with temporary unfitness according to the results of the military medical commission and for families where one member is a military personnel with a child under 18 years old.
Thus, the government is trying to improve the work of military medical commissions and ensure a unified approach for all soldiers serving in Ukraine.
