The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine drew attention to a scandalous incident involving the American television channel Fox News, which incorrectly labeled Kyiv as part of Russia during the broadcast of the Easter services. Spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Georgiy Tikhiy stated that the channel must publicly apologize if it was a mistake and not a deliberate political statement. He emphasized that in such a case, an investigation should be conducted to determine who made the error. Subsequently, Fox News corrected the mistake in the description of the place of worship. It is worth recalling that during the Easter services at the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow, which was attended by Vladimir Putin, Fox News also broadcast services from Kyiv. Initially, the screen correctly displayed that this was taking place in Kyiv, Ukraine. However, later a mistake appeared where Kyiv was incorrectly labeled as part of Russia. It is worth noting that Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a 'Easter truce', but Russia's open actions in Ukraine testify that this truce is not being upheld. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky agreed to a ceasefire during Easter, but on the condition that Russia actually adheres to the truce. He also proposes to extend the silence regime for 30 days after the holidays. However, on the morning of April 20, Zelensky reported that the Russian army continues to provoke and attack Ukraine during Easter.
