The number of casualties in Odesa increased after the Russian shelling.
This morning, Odesa and its region were attacked by drones and missiles, reported the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Oleg Kiper.
Kiper stated that the air defense was able to repel the enemy's attack.
During the attack, infrastructure was damaged and several people were injured. Fragments of downed drones damaged windows in houses and summer cottages. Cars caught fire and a grain storage facility was also damaged, Kiper reported.
As a result of the attack, four people were injured, one of them hospitalized.
Currently, law enforcement and rescue services are working to eliminate the consequences of the attack. The head of the Regional State Administration called this act a crime against the civilian population.
Earlier, on January 28, Russian forces had already attacked Odesa and Chernihiv using drones. As a result of the attack, houses and cars were damaged.
Recently, there was also a drone attack in Kharkiv, which led to damage of a gas pipeline and cars, as well as a fire outbreak at an enterprise.
