Emergency power outages have been introduced in one of the regions of Ukraine.
On January 15, emergency electricity outages began in the Dnipropetrovsk region, reported DTEK. These outages are occurring not according to the schedule by order of NEC "Ukrenergo". In order to stabilize the system, people who have electricity are urged to conserve it.
Ukraine is under air alert. The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on the takeoff of a Tu-95MS aircraft from Olenya airfield.
In this regard, Poland may increase electricity imports to Ukraine, distributing capacity among EU countries. Currently, the total capacity for electricity export from EU countries to Ukraine and Moldova is 2100 MW. Of this 2100 MW, part is distributed among Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Hungary, which are neighboring countries of the European Union with Ukraine.
