In one of the regions of Ukraine, emergency power outage schedules are being implemented.
As a result of a nighttime drone attack, emergency power outage schedules are being implemented in the Zhytomyr region.
According to the company «Ukrenergo», due to the nighttime drone attack, emergency power outages are occurring in the Zhytomyr region in the morning. Energy workers are making every effort to restore the functionality of the damaged equipment that was attacked by the enemy as soon as possible.
In this regard, energy workers urge residents to use electricity sparingly during the period from 08:00 to 19:00:
«Please, if possible - refrain from using powerful electrical appliances and avoid connecting several devices to the power grid at the same time».
It is worth mentioning that Poland may increase the import of electricity to Ukraine due to the redistribution of capacity among other European Union countries. Currently, the maximum export capacity for electricity from the EU to Ukraine and Moldova is 2100 MW. This capacity is distributed among four neighboring EU countries, namely Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Hungary.
