In Russia, teachers are forced to work for free: million fines for sick leave.
Participants of the program for rural teachers in the Russian Federation were predictably deceived. They are required to work for free for sick leave or pay the state a million hryvnias.
This was reported by Russian media.
Problems with sick pay for teachers in Russia
In the Irkutsk region of the Russian Federation, rural teachers who worked in schools under five-year contracts received an unpleasant surprise from the authorities.
They have effectively lost money for sick leave. Formally, they were ordered to work out the days they were on sick leave without retaining their salary.
Doctors are demanded a million
If the teachers refuse to comply with this requirement, they were promised to be charged a million rubles, which they received in 2020 during the start of the contract program called 'Zemsky Teacher'.
Following this threat, teachers began to resign en masse. In addition, they filed complaints with various authorities — including the local prosecutor's office, the Investigative Committee, and even contacted the president's reception.
We remind that we previously reported that Vladimir Putin is lying to Russians about the real state of the economy of the Russian Federation. Additionally, we stated that the economy of the Russian Federation is cracking at the seams due to the war in Ukraine.
Participants of the program for rural teachers in the Russian Federation were deceived, being required to work for free for sick leave or pay a large sum of money. After this major threat, teachers began to resign and reach out to law enforcement for help.
