Students and staff of the school in Uzhhorod were evacuated after a suspicious object was found
Today, April 1, law enforcement received a report about a potentially dangerous object in the school in Uzhhorod. For safety reasons, the inspector of the Educational Safety Service evacuated all students and staff of the educational institution.
Explosive experts from the police were on site and established that the suspicious object, which was brought by a fifth-grade student in a backpack, was a model of an 82 mm mortar shell.
The model was seized by the investigators, and the student's family is receiving support from juvenile police.
Furthermore, it was previously reported that a schoolgirl from Uzhhorod faced a scandal after she recorded a video with an ambiguous joke that caused outrage on social media. However, the girl later admitted her mistake.
In addition, Russian special services attempted to involve a sixth-grade student from one of the schools in the Ternopil region in subversive activities, but the student contacted law enforcement instead of agreeing to the promised money.
