Trump called a journalist stupid in response: what caused the conflict.
According to ТСН: U.S. President Donald Trump sharply reacted to a journalist's question, calling her 'stupid'. This happened during Trump's live line with military bases on Thanksgiving Day when she asked why he accused Joe Biden's administration of allowing an Afghan man, who attacked the National Guardsmen, to enter the country.
The journalist asked why Trump believes the suspect in the White House attack could have been allowed into the country without proper vetting.
"You're asking questions just because you're a stupid person. Because they let them in. Are you stupid? You're a stupid person? They arrived by plane with thousands of other people who shouldn't be here," Trump stated.
It is worth noting that on November 26, a shooting incident occurred near the White House in Washington, resulting in the deaths of two American National Guardsmen.
Trump and U.S. Vice President Jay D. Vance have already expressed their reactions to this tragic incident.
The suspect in the shooting previously served in Afghan military units that worked with the CIA.
This incident is not the first time Trump has had conflicts with journalists. Earlier, during a conversation with Bloomberg journalist Katherine Lucey aboard Air Force One, he also pointed at her and said, 'Quiet, quiet, pig', in response to her question about Jeffrey Epstein. Trump then added that he knows nothing about the 'girls' mentioned and noted that Epstein often communicated with former U.S. President Bill Clinton and former Harvard president Lawrence Summers.
This incident and Trump's reaction to the journalist's question again highlighted the tension in relations between the president and the press. Once again, we are witnessing emotional conflicts that arise during press conferences. Observing these events, it is important to understand how they affect public perception and attitudes toward power.
