Honorary guests at Trump's inauguration
Oleksandra Nikolainenko, known as 'Miss Ukraine 2001', and her husband Phil Ruffin, an American billionaire, were honorary guests at President Donald Trump's inauguration. The ceremony took place today, January 20, in Washington.
Phil Ruffin, an 89-year-old American businessman, is a close friend of Trump and his family. Oleksandra Nikolainenko, who was a model, television presenter, and founder of the 'Miss Ukraine Universe' contest, attended the inauguration in an elegant suit. She represented Ukraine at the 'Miss World 2001' contest and made it to the top 10 finalists when Trump still owned the contest.
Oleksandra Nikolainenko is one of the most famous winners of the 'Miss Ukraine' contest. After winning the crown in 2001, she gained great popularity in the industry. She also represented Ukraine at 'Miss World 2001' and became the owner of the 'Miss Ukraine Universe 2004' crown, after which she sold the contest in 2015.
Nikolainenko got into Trump's circle through her participation in the beauty contest. It is believed that it was thanks to Trump that she became the owner of the 'Miss Ukraine Universe' contest.
Oleksandra Nikolainenko and Phil Ruffin have two children and together supported Trump's campaign in the 2016 U.S. presidential election.
