According to ТСН: The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, decided to leave his position a day before the planned trip to Miami, where negotiations with the team of US President Donald Trump regarding a peace plan for Ukraine were to take place.

It is known that Yermak, along with several advisors to President Volodymyr Zelensky, was to meet with Trump's emissaries - Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.

Negotiations on Peace Settlement

Yermak headed the Ukrainian delegation that was engaged in negotiations with Russia. Recently, he visited Geneva, where he discussed the peace plan with a US delegation headed by Senator Marco Rubio.

According to information from Ukrainian sources, the main goal of the trip was to coordinate positions between Ukraine and the USA before Witkoff and Kushner's visit to Moscow for a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Impact of Resignation on Ukraine's Position

It is worth noting that, according to one Ukrainian official, although Yermak's resignation raises doubts about further negotiations, it does not change Ukraine's position regarding the cessation of the war, which was clearly defined by President Zelensky.

It is also noted that Zelensky fired Andriy Yermak from the position of head of the Office of the President following his resignation and NABU searches. The presidential decree has already been signed.

This resignation may significantly affect the further course of peace negotiations between Ukraine and the USA, especially in the context of relations with Russia. Currently, the question of who will take the position of head of the Office of the President and how this will impact Ukraine's position in international negotiations remains open.
