North Korean military in Kursk region complains about food shortages – intelligence.
Dissatisfaction among the soldiers of the North Korean army in Russia due to insufficient food is growing. This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (HUR MO).
According to Ukrainian intelligence, Russia has addressed the issue and sent Major General Mevlyutov – deputy commander for resource support of the Leningrad Military District, to resolve this problem. He decided to provide the North Korean military personnel with individual rations from the food supplies of the Russian brigade.
The HUR also reported that soldiers from two brigades of the North Korean army are being transferred under the command of Russian military units participating in combat operations in the Kursk region.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the number of North Korean troops in Russia has reached 11,000 soldiers and could increase to 100,000. At the same Time, the Russian army is preparing for a counteroffensive and the expulsion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from Russian territory. However, the number of the Russian military grouping in the Kursk region is not catastrophic, as noted by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
Ukrainian intelligence has intercepted a new conversation of North Korean military personnel that Russia has deployed in the Kursk region.
