Military assessed the enemy's capabilities for an offensive on Zaporizhzhia.
According to the spokesperson of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army "South" Serhiy Bratchuk, Russian occupiers intend to advance in the Donetsk direction, but they lack the resources for an offensive on Zaporizhzhia.
According to him, Russian troops will attempt to capture the Donetsk region and continue military offensives on Myrnohrad and Pokrovsk. For this, the enemies need to pass through Kurakhove to move in the Pokrovsk direction. Fighters of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army are observing the actions of Russian troops on the Southern flank, which they call the South-Donetsk front.
The spokesperson also noted that the head of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, inspected military units in the Zaporizhzhia region, and he hopes that appropriate decisions will be made to stabilize the situation after this.
According to him, the Russian army is activating on the Vremivsky bridgehead and Huliaipole direction, but this is not an offensive on Zaporizhzhia. He believes that the risks that have arisen will be eliminated and notes that the partisan movement "Atesh" has achieved significant success and managed to conduct several attacks on enemy positions.
Bratchuk also reported that the Russians are hunting Ukrainian FPV drone crews, as these drones cause significant damage to enemy infantry and equipment.
