A soldier spoke about the features of North Korean soldiers' attacks in Kharkiv.
North Korean military have changed their assault tactics in Kharkiv
According to the senior officer of the communications department of the 80th Separate Air Assault Brigade, Petro Haidashchuk, North Korean military now conduct assault operations in Kharkiv in large groups. Their numbers reach about 50 or more individuals. They move across open terrain and attack the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in full height. Moreover, they disregard the drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and attempt to shoot them down using small arms. Petro Haidashchuk believes that the North Koreans are studying their tactics in detail and have more time for preparation. They are also better equipped, have Russian weaponry, and even receive better nourishment. However, their main objective is to storm the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that 4,000 North Korean soldiers have already died in Kharkiv. There are predictions that by mid-April 2025, all North Korean military personnel will be killed or wounded in battle if they continue to suffer losses. The South Korean government will consult with Ukraine regarding the return of North Korean soldiers who have been captured by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
