Ukraine’s Diia Portal Now Offers Streamlined Services for Military Personnel and Their Families.
New All-in-One Service for Service Members on the Diia Portal
According to Espreso.tv: A comprehensive service has been launched on the Diia portal for active and former military personnel, as well as families of fallen defenders. It enables users to apply for multiple government benefits through a single submission. This initiative is part of broader efforts to support those who have served and their loved ones during challenging transitions.
Available Benefits
The new feature provides access to the following services:
- Obtaining official disability status due to war-related injuries,
- Receiving a one-time financial payment from the Ministry of Veterans Affairs,
- Access to social support services.
This consolidation simplifies the process for those in need of assistance.
Applications are processed within 30 calendar days or more. The outcome is sent to the applicant’s email and personal account on the Diia portal. This change aims to improve access to state services for military members and their families by cutting through bureaucratic red tape.
The rollout marks a significant step in backing soldiers who defend national interests, as well as their relatives, who often face hardships after losing a loved one. By easing the application process, the government hopes to help these individuals adjust to civilian life and receive crucial support during difficult times. It also underscores the state’s commitment to those who have contributed to the country’s defense.
