'The European Commission has approved the allocation of €4.1 billion to Ukraine under the Ukraine Facility. It confirmed the reforms carried out by the government, and we are planning to quickly obtain a decision from the EU Council. The total amount of support this year will be €16.1 billion,' the head of government stated.
He thanked the EU for supporting Ukraine and emphasized that despite the war with Russia, Ukraine continues to reform and move closer to Europe.
Fugitive MP Odarchenko sentenced to eight years in prison
The High Anti-Corruption Court delivered a verdict to People's Deputy Andriy Odarchenko. He was accused of attempting to bribe the former head of the State Restoration Committee, Mustafa Nayyem. This was reported by the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office.
Based on evidence collected during the pre-trial investigation by NABU detectives and SAP prosecutors, Odarchenko was found guilty under the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The MP was sentenced to eight years in prison and confiscation of property, as well as a three-year ban on holding positions in government bodies. The court's decision can be appealed within 30 days.

People's Deputy of Ukraine Yevhen Shevchenko has been notified of suspicion of treason. This is reported by 'Glavkom' sources in law enforcement agencies.
According to the investigation, the People's Deputy systematically disseminated the opinions of the aggressor state in his speeches and interviews. He spread specially selected information and manipulated facts about Ukraine's political course, which influenced the awareness of citizens. The Office of the Attorney General emphasizes that the MP caused harm to Ukraine's information security.
A military facility in the Russian city of Belgorod was attacked: there are casualties
The Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted an attack on a military facility in the Russian city of Belgorod. This is reported by local media. Photos show that a missile hit the roof of one of the buildings where military 'Urals' are stationed. Satellite images also show military equipment in the area. It is noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked a site with military equipment, resulting in several conscripts being injured.
Sexual violence during wartime: how many people applied for payments
More than 538 people have applied for payments under the project providing urgent reparations for victims of sexual violence. The majority of the applications came from men. This was reported by the government commissioner for gender policy, Kateryna Levchenko.
According to Levchenko, 300 applications came from men, 224 from women, nine from girls, and two from boys.
Under the project, each individual was to receive compensation of €3,000.
