Law enforcement has now disclosed the circumstances of the crash, which claimed the life of a 25-year-old man from the village of Nova Ukrainka. The victim's body was discovered on the roadway near the village of Shubkiv at 8:00 PM by a 59-year-old local resident.

The driver responsible for the fatal collision was a 26-year-old man from the Ternopil region. Following the incident, he fled the scene and then called the emergency line '102', falsely reporting that his Jeep Cherokee had been stolen. However, the subsequent police investigation was so thorough that the driver was ultimately detained under procedural order.
