Warriors of the Ukrainian Legion in Poland Take an Oath.
Volunteers from the Ukrainian Legion group in Poland have undergone training and pledged military allegiance to the Ukrainian people. They are currently preparing for service on the frontlines. This information was conveyed by a representative of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine through a Telegram channel.
The warriors have started an intensive training course where they are learning fire training, medical tactics, mine safety, topography, and other important skills.
The training is conducted by experienced Polish instructors.
The head of the Ukrainian Legion, Petro Horkusha, noted that this unit consists of motivated warriors for whom the defense of their homeland is a matter of honor.
A few days ago, the first volunteers signed contracts for service in the legion at the General Consulate of Ukraine in Lublin. After the ceremony, they will move to the training ground of the Polish Armed Forces.
Moreover, the recruitment center located at the Ukrainian consulate in Lublin has received over 500 applications from Ukrainians in 30 countries who wish to join the Ukrainian Legion.
The largest group of recruits consists of Ukrainians living in the Czech Republic.
