In the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, an increase in public transport fares is planned to improve the quality of transportation. This decision has sparked outrage among the local population, which is already suffering from the consequences of the occupation. This is reported by the National Resistance Center (NRC).

Residents of the occupied areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions face numerous problems in public transport: faulty buses, limited working hours, and long waits for minivans. Fares are also very high, starting from 20 Russian rubles per trip.

Local residents complain about difficulties in returning home after work, as taxis are financially inaccessible for everyone.

At the same Time, the occupation administration plans to increase fares to improve the quality of transportation. They are conducting surveys among residents to find out if they are willing to pay more for quality service.

“However, increasing fare prices will not affect the quality of public transport. The shortage of drivers due to mass mobilization into the occupier's army and old buses will not disappear,” stated the NRC.

It is worth noting that hundreds of Ukrainians in the occupied territories not only remain loyal to their country and await liberation but also cooperate with the Defense Forces, facilitating its acceleration. This was stated by an officer of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine with the call sign Ulster in an interview with Jenny Klochko.

Let us recall that earlier, an 18-year-old captive invader named Savely told about how he ended up in the war. In an interview with journalist Dmytro Apostol, he shared the story of his family, in which besides him there are 10 more brothers and sisters growing up.

It is also known that the Russian command issued instructions to its soldiers in which surrender is considered “betrayal of Russia” and “betrayal of the oath.” This was reported by journalist Yuriy Butusov.
