Honoring Darya Lopatina: The Story of a 19-Year-Old Student and Defender.
According to inkorr.com: Every day at 9 o'clock, Ukrainians honor the memory of those whose lives were cut short by the Russo-Ukrainian war. Today we remember Darya Lopatina.

Darya Lopatina, a serviceman of the 12th Special Forces Brigade of the 1st Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine 'Azov', was a student at the Kyiv School of Economics and died fighting for Ukraine. She began her service in the 12th Brigade at the age of 18, studied in the 'Artificial Intelligence' program, and is remembered by all for her kindness and courage.
“You were real, sincere... You were passionate. You always acted immediately, without delay or reproach... We will always remember you, you have reached so much in this world, but you will always be 19. Thank you, sister,” shared the members of the 593 community.
“She knew and understood much more than all of us... This damn war. These damned neighbors. Eternal memory and honor to the heroine!” wrote Tymofiy Mylovanov, president of KSE.
Maria Kryuchok, a teacher, also remembers Darya: “I once recalled a girl-soldier. Young, beautiful, strong. Today we found out she died. Darya Lopatina, Delta. 19 years old. Eternal memory.”
Today we honor the memory of all who have perished in the fight for freedom and independence of Ukraine. May the memory of the heroine Darya Lopatina stay with us forever.
This tragedy reminds us of the price that everyone pays who fights for their country. Darya Lopatina is a symbol of the indomitable spirit of Ukraine and dedication. Honoring her memory is an important step in understanding the history of our struggle for freedom.
