Timofiy Mylovanov is leaving the Supervisory Board of 'Energoatom'

According to inkorr.com: Timofiy Mylovanov, president of the Kyiv School of Economics and former Minister of Economy, has decided to leave the Supervisory Board of 'Energoatom'. He submitted a letter of resignation and called for an extraordinary meeting to temporarily suspend officials who are under investigation. Additionally, he proposed creating an independent committee to review procurement procedures and involving international experts for conducting a forensic audit.

"The decision has been made, but it leaves much to be desired. It has become a formality... It reflects deep inefficiency," Mylovanov explained.

Mylovanov also expressed dissatisfaction that the authorities and the Supervisory Board of 'Energoatom' did not support the investigation of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau. Recently, national anti-corruption officials conducted searches at the homes of several officials, including former Minister of Energy Herman Halushchenko and businessman Timur Mindich.

Mylovanov's actions aimed to enhance transparency and promote reforms in the 'Energoatom' system, but his initiatives received limited response from the company's leadership.

This step by Mylovanov highlights existing problems in the governance system of 'Energoatom'. His calls for openness and involvement of international experts indicate the need for deeper reforms in an industry critical to Ukraine's energy security. Currently, the further actions of the government and the Supervisory Board may have a significant impact on the company's development strategy and its reputation in society.
