Defenders destroyed a column of occupiers near Andriivka (video).

Ukrainian military artillerymen and drone operators successfully destroyed a Russian column that intended to attack the village of Andriivka in the Donetsk region. According to the information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy column consisted of two platoons of Russian troops and armored vehicles. During this time, the Ukrainian military destroyed 12 units of enemy equipment, seven of which were completely destroyed. In addition, 18 occupiers were eliminated and seven more were injured.

There is also information in social media that Ukrainian military destroyed one tank, two infantry fighting vehicles, cars, and three golf carts of the Russian group.

The President of Ukraine expresses hope for achieving a ceasefire with Russia within the coming weeks or months. However, the US believes that this will not happen for a long time. Therefore, new pressure strategies on both sides of the conflict are likely to be considered.
