Valeriy Zaluzhnyi will publish the first book in the trilogy "My War"
Former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, who is now an ambassador in the United Kingdom, has written the first book of his future trilogy "My War". This was reported by the information portal "Babel" with reference to sources close to Zaluzhnyi.
"My War" is a memoir that tells about the life of the former commander from his childhood to February 24, 2022, as well as about the full-scale war of Russia against Ukraine. This book became the first part of the trilogy, the next two parts will be titled "Our War" and "Their War".
It is noted that the first book is already ready and will soon appear in bookstores. Currently, Valeriy Zaluzhnyi is working on the second part titled "Our War".
Regarding the question of whether this book is the beginning of the former commander's political career, sources stated that Zaluzhnyi does not plan to engage in politics. Instead, he will focus on his work as Ukraine's ambassador to the United Kingdom.
Valeriy Zaluzhnyi supports Ukraine's plan for victory in the war against Russia but notes that war has mathematical patterns rather than forecasts. This was reported by journalist Nina Kuryata, who inquired about the former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine's views on the plan.
Valeriy Zaluzhnyi also stated that he does not support the conscription of youth aged 18 to 25. The ambassador added that young people can save Ukraine if there is a threat to the existence of the state, as they are entirely different people.
