Ukraine must develop a new strategy to counter Russia that takes into account changes in the battlefield situation and the implementation of new technologies. This was stated by the former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny. He noted that the temporary support of democratic countries and the delay in the supply of necessary weapons led to the unification of Russia with China, North Korea, and Iran.

'In the meantime, while the West was afraid of Putin's 'red lines' and tried to prevent escalation, China, North Korea, and Iran have already united around Russia,' Zaluzhny stressed.

The diminishing Commander-in-Chief noted that Ukraine is in a protracted war, but the future challenges of this war may extend to other countries as well. He called for action and decisive steps, not just survival.

Zaluzhny believes that the new technologies that have emerged on the front will be crucial and will change global security. This concerns not only Ukraine but also the entire democratic world.

'This conflict is no longer the same. Therefore, we must respond decisively and in a timely manner to new challenges to ensure victory,' emphasized the ambassador.

In his book 'My War,' Zaluzhny notes that Russia began preparing for the invasion of Ukraine in 2020. The Times also presents four scenarios for the resolution of the conflict, however, all of them exclude the sudden death of Putin.

According to reports, the Ukrainian forces managed to advance in Kursk and restore positions in Toretsk, but the occupiers were also able to exert influence near Borova, Pokrovsk, and Kurakhove.
